Beginners Ballroom & Latin
Learn to glide through Ballroom and sparkle in Latin, from the very first step. No partner needed, ever, and no experience required.
What it is
From the Waltz and Quickstep to the Cha Cha and Jive, you'll learn the classic Ballroom and Latin dances in a relaxed, beginner-friendly class. Anna competed to the highest level, reaching Vice Champion at the Blackpool Dance Festival, so the teaching is genuinely expert, but the room is all warmth and good humour.
What a session feels like
Come on your own or with someone. Ballroom and Latin are traditionally partnered, so we'll happily pair you with another dancer in class (a lovely way to get to know everyone), but you'll never be forced to dance with anyone if you'd rather not. Expect to laugh, learn a step or two, and leave wanting to come back.
When & where
Wednesdays 7:45-8:45pm at Horsforth Ballroom, and Tuesdays 6:45-7:45pm in Otley.

Comfortable clothes you can move in (no jeans). Smooth-soled shoes to start; Latin or Ballroom shoes are recommended as you progress.
