Adult dance classes
Silver Swans Ballet
Gentle, joyful ballet designed especially for over-55s. Silver Swans improves posture, balance, strength and wellbeing in lovely, unhurried company, and it is wonderful for body and mind alike.

What it is
Silver Swans is the Royal Academy of Dance's programme for older adults, taught here by a licensed Silver Swans teacher. The movement is gentle and supported, with plenty of work at the barre, but it is still real ballet: graceful, expressive and rewarding. Many of our dancers find it does as much for their confidence and friendships as it does for their balance and mobility.
What a session feels like
Daytime classes, a warm welcome, and no pressure at all to keep up. You'll move at a comfortable pace, with chairs and the barre always there for support, and you'll likely leave standing a little taller and smiling a little more. The company is half the joy.

When & where
Tuesdays 10:00-11:00am and Wednesdays 10:45-11:45am at Cragg Hill Baptist Church, Horsforth.
